About the Manufacturer

The Falcon 2000 is manufactured by Dassault Aviation, the only executive jet manufacturer that builds military aircraft. The Indian Air Force flies the Mirage 2000 from the Mirage fleet. The aircraft benefits from the manufacturer's military experience. Built to exacting military standards, the Falcon 2000 is reputed to be the finest all round executive jet for its ability to operate on high and hot runaways, climb quickly to a high initial cruise altitude and fly an intercontinental range within very limited operating costs and gaz emission. Till date, Dassault has delivered over 7,300 aircraft logging over 20 million hours.

About the Aircraft

The Dassault Falcon 2000LX is a derivative of the Falcon 2000 offering the same large and comfortable cabin. It is powered by 2 PW308 engines from Pratt & Whitney Canada and can also climb directly to high levels, above the traffic and the weather, for better efficiency. More than 200 Falcon 2000EX/LX units have been already sold worldwide in addition to the Falcon 2000 fleet. The Falcon 2000EX/LX offer the new EASy state-of-the-art advanced cockpit developed by Honeywell and Dassault Aviation. The range of the Falcon 2000EX is 3,800 NM thanks to better fuel efficiency and additional fuel tanks, the range of the 2000LX adds an extra 200 NM thanks to the winglets. The Falcon 2000EX/LX can be equipped with the Head-Up-Guidance System and the EVS.
The Taj Air Dassault Falcon 2000LX jet aircraft holds its own and is superior in almost every single area; especially when you compare it to: Cessna Citation CJ2, Cessna Citation Excel, Hawker 850 XP, Cessna Citation X, Challenger 300, Gulfstream G 200 and Challenger 604. Enumerated below are the reasons that make it the preferred aircraft for charters:

It is designed to climb to 41,000ft in just 18 minutes. With a maximum ceiling of 47,000ft (nearly 11/2 times the height of Mount Everest with its elevation at 29,029ft); thereby flying above turbulent weather and avoiding air traffic, in cruise and 'whisper-soft' flight.

  • It has a cruise speed of 880km/h, coupled with a range of 3,000 NM - which translates to around 6 hours of 'non-stop flying'.
  • The cabin boasts 6 ft 2 in of headroom, a width of 7 ft 8 in and a cabin length of 26 ft 2 in passenger seating space. The floor plan is designed to provide multiple seating for 9 passengers with the added convenience of 2 toilets (one exclusively for the passengers). The passenger cabin volume of 1,024ft3 is among the highest in its category.
The baggage space is 14% more than its closest rival and allows you to travel in style.
